　　Virgin Games was founded in 2004 in London and since then it became an important real money online casino and mobile gaming provider. Lately the company faced various financial difficulties and hinted that it might seek financing from independent parties.

　　At this moment it's not known how much Gamesys had to pay in order to secure the takeover of the company. Likewise, it's not certain if Gamesys will maintain Virgin Games' staff and personnel. This however will be cleared up during the upcoming week as soon as the takeover is finalized.

　　Gamesys is at this moment one of the largest real money online casino gaming providers in Europe. In 2011 the company managed to increase its revenues with 27% to GBP 125 million due to the launch of new online casino and social gaming services.
